Dental professionals rely on the EDA Accepted Seal to guide them to the eco-friendly products and services that are authentically “green” and which meet the EDA’s standards.

Dental professionals rely on the EDA Accepted Seal to guide them to the eco-friendly products and services that are authentically “green” and which meet the EDA’s standards.

Products and services which earn the EDA Accepted Seal are instantly differentiated in the marketplace and recognized as green dentistry leaders.

Products and services achieve the EDA Accepted Seal through a comprehensive yet easy to complete application that tracks a product or services’ achievements in eight categories. Products and services are not required to achieve a particular number of points in any given category; the decision as to whether a product is accepted by the EDA or not is an “up or down” decision. The application also gives manufacturers and distributors credit for eco-friendly corporate initiatives like implementing energy efficiencies and recycling programs.

EDA Accepted Products enjoy the following benefits:
  • Application Report posted in the EDA’s GreenDOC™ Product Guide, setting out all of the eco-friendly attributes the product achieves.
  • Use of the EDA Accepted Seal for one year: websites, tradeshows, product labels and packaging, continuing education presentations, etc.
  • Top placement in EDA GreenDOC™ Product Search with link to a community profile page for the product or service, including the opportunity to post product photos, sell sheets, blogs and updates.

If your product(s) or service(s) qualify for the “EDA Accepted Seal,” you will submit credit card payment information to be automatically charged for the monthly fee of $195 per product.

Upon receipt of the applicable fees, we will provide your company with guidelines for use of the “EDA Accepted Seal,” as well as electronic versions of the “EDA Accepted Seal” for your use on product packaging, marketing and advertising materials, websites, trade show exhibits, catalogs and the like.
